1. Who we are

Tagtrails provides free browser-based marketing tools (including the UTM Link Builder). Tool calculations and link building run in your browser. For questions, see Contact.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what information we (and our advertising partners) may collect, how cookies are used, and your choices — including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy rules where they apply.

3. Information we process

  • Tool data in your browser. URLs and UTM fields you enter for the UTM Link Builder stay in your browser. We do not send destination URLs to our servers for this tool. Optional “last used” values may be saved in localStorage on your device only.
  • Consent choice. We store your cookie preferences in localStorage so we remember Accept / Reject / custom settings.
  • Contact messages. If you email us, we process the content of your message to respond.
  • Advertising / analytics (only with consent). If you accept marketing (or analytics) cookies, Google and other vendors may process data as described below.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies / local storage — required for the site to work (including remembering your consent). These do not require marketing consent.
  • Marketing / advertising cookies — used only after you opt in via our cookie banner (Accept all, or marketing enabled in Manage preferences).

This site is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
